OAK PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Michigan State Police are searching for a freeway shooter, or shooters, after three drivers report bullets hitting their vehicles.
Ballistic testing could determine how many shooters are targeting vehicles traveling on 696 between Coolidge Highway and Woodward Avenue.
Investigators tell Action News the time of the day of the incidents has varied. The latest shooting was just reported Sunday evening. No injuries have been reported.
Troopers are now on the lookout for anyone suspicious who may be parked near an overpass or on the shoulder of the freeway.
If you have any information in the case, you're asked to call Michigan State Police.
From Bob ~ So I wonder what would happen if we shot back? Maybe next time I'm through that area I should carry my deer rifle!
