The state of the economy, fast moving and in the wrong direction to poverty, change is what we need
Humanity, why am I slow to love or trust you, if you do not look like me?
Don't you see, we breathe the same, and we bleed the same, we need the same, and change is what we need
We need change, I see change coming

Have-nots are becoming the majority
Sowing much and reaping less
While greed and hypocrisy raids politics and the pulpit
Put our selfishness down
We need to put our differences down
When will we put our arrogance down?
We need to put our ignorance down!

I believe together we're much better than apart and I believe there are many others of that very mind and heart
Imagine all those people joining ranks as one force, standing up, speaking out and speaking loud
We've had enough, we're fed up, we won't take it, no more
Unity guarantees change there will be, I see change coming

If we put selfishness down, we can put homelessness down
If we put differences down, we can put prejudice down
If we put arrogance down, we can put terrorists down
If we put our ignorance down and pick up unity...
